Pack Llama Training Course:
A FREE, one-time training course is required for first time customers.
Rental Deposit: Reservations are made on a first come-first serve basis. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the rental price is required at the time of reservation and is applied towards the rental. Payment of the full rental price is due at least 14 days prior to the start date. Once your reservation and deposit are processed, llamas are reserved for the specific days of your trip, and are removed from our rental availability pool, which does not allow them to be re-rented on such short notice. If a cancellation is made at least 60 days in advance, we do allow the non-refundable deposit to be pushed out up to one (1) additional year from the date of reservation. Specific dates must be scheduled at the time of cancellation and will be made on a first come first serve basis.”
Early Returns: We do not offer credits or refunds for early returns. We understand that many factors can lead to an early return, and unfortunately many of them are out of your control. This is a risk when renting llamas. At times, an early return is a result of a positive outcome, such as a successful hunting or fishing trip. Unfortunately, sometimes early returns are a result of bad circumstances, such as poor weather conditions, sickness, bugs/insects, or another unforeseen emergency. Since we are unable to re-rent the llamas on such short notice, we do not offer any credit or refunds for early returns.
You are almost on your way to your next adventure. Our pack llamas have been well trained and conditioned in the off season and are eager to reunite with you in the backcountry this season. If this is your first-time renting llamas, we’re confident you’ll have a great trip if you follow what you learned in our free pack llama training course. Just keep in mind that like humans, these animals can be unpredictable at times and each llama has their own personality. As you get to know these animals on the trail, we believe you’ll find them to be amazing trail companions.
